ABOUT

du·al·ism

/ˈd(y)o͞oəˌlizəm/

noun

  1. 1.

the division of something conceptually into two opposed or contrasted aspects

Red smoke against a black background.

Every image starts with something you can't quite see.

A feeling.
A question.
A strange idea that refuses to leave.

Casanova Frankenstein exists to give those ideas a form.

We are a small creative production team working across photography, film, and sound—directly with the people making the work. No layers between the idea and the execution. Just people, cameras, light, sound, and a willingness to see what happens.

Sometimes the result is beautiful.

Sometimes it's unsettling.

Usually, it's somewhere in between.

That's where we like it.
